have been denied payment of benefits for service-related
injuries. He works with Widener University's Veterans
Law Clinic in Susquehanna Twp. He spoke with The
Patriot-News and offered guidance for veterans and those
still serving in the military. What are some of the... issues
you are seeing with veterans getting denied benefits? We
have a lot of claims coming in from Iraq and Afghanistan for
post-traumatic stress disorder. Because it's a mental
condition and not a physical condition ... it gets very
difficult to prove. If you're missing a limb or you
have cancer, it's pretty easy to prove.
