The Frick Collection Irish artist Daniel Maclise painted a scene in 1833 of Halloween merry-making in Blarney, Ireland. Back then, it was called All-Hallow's Eve. Before that, it was the Celtic festival of Samhain. To learn more about this painting or other spooky art, visit the Frick Art Reference Library. We are open 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Halloween.
