A peek at Sunday's 60 Minutes: Morley Safer goes on the set of Jim Cameron's upcoming 3D fantasy film "Avatar." Cameron thinks his film may change Hollywood. It turns out the director wrote the movie years ago but had to wait until the technology caught up. Check out a preview below. This story and more on S...unday's 60 Minutes, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

I think it would be a revoulutionary act! History making discovery in Technology and in just what this new ability would bring in cures and health and understanding more from this world and its life cycle! Dinosaurs did play into the evolution of this planet at one time. I think we could learn more and find History and bring it too the present. That would be so-cool.

Very informative piece on cyber security. Grateful to see this Administration proactively allocating at least some, if not yet enough, resources to defend our nation against this 21st Century threat. As for those concerned this investigative journalism will provide hackers motivation, guess what? They're way ahead of us... Time to pull our heads out of the sand and open our eyes to the challenges our nation and allies face... Kudos to 60 Minutes for airing this piece!

so with all this information on cyber security and the realization that we have a real threat why isn't the administration who is hell bent on spending money calling it stimlus not hitting one out of the part and using the stiumulus money to bring some of those jobs back to the us. bring back the manufacturing of key compenents to the us and then ... See Morethe risk is not there. No foreign county can impregnate any component with risky programs. You make the tax incentives to great jobs especially these types of jobs and you will see a stimulated economy and you will see less risk.

60 Minutes Hi Everyone,
In case you missed Sunday's show, all segments are available at http://60minutes.com. Scott Pelley visited the only U.S. production line of the H1N1 flu vaccine; Lara Logan reported on Yakuza, Japan's not-so-secret mafia that has worldwide reach; and Lesley Stahl reported on video pirates - folks who steal ...movies sometimes even before they've hit theaters and distribute them online.

Plus, we featured our second 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair Poll. Check it out below and give your input. There's a Facebook-related question too - apparently a large number of respondents had never heard of it (???!!!).

the vaccine is pretty safe i believe and very similar to the seasonal flu. All of the officials I have spoken with from Dr Shuchat of the CDC to others at the nyc dept of health have said that. There is more mercury in a can of tuna than the h1n1 vaccine!

The vacine has mercury in it. Mercury is toxic. I agree w/Melissa that I would rather die a natural death then by a vacine from a needle that has not been tested for safety. This H1N1 is all hype for $$$$. Pharmacy companies pad the lining of wallets for politicians. They in turn push drugs on the public that isn't necessary to keep more $$$ going ... I am extremely disappointed by 60 minutes coverage of the H1N1 vaccine. I truly was expecting smarter questions and a broader investigation. No mention about all the questionable "ingredients"?or the fact in Europe many physicians and nurses decided not to be vaccinated (30% docs and 60% of nurses in France only).

The "ingredients" people fear so much, Squalene. ... See More

First off, shark liver oil also has been shown to be beneficial in cancer treatment http://www.ehow.com/about_5494364_benefits-shark-liver-oil.html so I see no fear of injecting it into the human body that already produces squalene when synthesizing cholesterol among other things. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squalene.

http://www.ottawa.ca/residents/health/conditions/swine_influenza/vaccine_safety_en.html see the portion on Guillain-Barré Syndrome at the bottom of the page.

It's sad how many are led to believe conspiracy theories like the Illuminati crap and then risk their lives and others over mythology. And those that do not understand evolution and how viruses work would obviously not understand why this vaccine was not ready on time. I think education is far better than fear mongering.

Great show 60 Minutes, as usual.

H1 N1 I feel is just the begining into a brand new strain of diffrent types of Flu's that attack the human body! The flu its self over the years has become stronger and more resistant b/c our medicines clone its gene and inturn the Common Flu search out other areas of the body too survive and as it learned too mask its self over time. It's now ... See Morebuilt up a resistant level that it now has seperated and attacks the human body much more quicker! In another year or two, it will seperate again because even though we are finding ways too fight it off with another strain of a flu-shot, it will change again its gene/make up and counter our moves. Its like playing a game of chess! Over time you remeber the moves other competitors had made too win. The same is now being done..............

November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month.

On October 30, President Obama issued Presidential Proclamations for the month of November for the following:

National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month ... See More

National Diabetes Month

National Adoption Month

National Family Caregivers Month

National Native American Heritage Month

As of 8:00 a.m., November 11, the White House has yet to issue a Presidential Proclamation for National Epilepsy Awareness Month.

The fine 60 Minute piece called Epilepsy: Fighting For A Cure was a start at improving public awareness about epilepsy and the 3 million people in the U.S. with the disorder, including the work of Susan and David Axelrod in putting a face on the disorder and seeking a cure. One would think that given the influence of David Axelrod in the Obama Administration, a National Epilepsy Awareness Month proclamation would have been issued at the same time as the others.

Go to:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact

Leave a message asking for the President to issue an Epilepsy Awareness proclamation. Persons with epilepsy must be their own best advocates.
