I think the Pre and Pixi will get much better very soon. People just need a little more patience. Look at the iPhone for instance and that it took 3 years to get video recording and mms, along with some other basic features. Not too mention that you needed to buy the updated iPhone 3GS just to use video recording officially. It even took them 1 year to get any "real" downloadable apps. So, I think I'm personally going to wait it out a bit longer and see how Palm WebOS does.

I've been seeing Treos and Centros all over General Hospital for past few years (technology cameos are far more entertaining than any of the show's story lines), but someone *shucking* open a Pre would rule.

The Pre would have appeared on more shows, but it was unable to due to arbitrary partitioning of the fall schedule. In order to appear on more, it would have had to drop one.

I really want a palm pre! Too bad you haven't made it so I can open my Real Estate lockboxes with it. Boooooo! Do you have any idea what a HUGE part of the population you're missing out on by not having that as an available application for Realtors?

@Ricquel, it is a hardware issue..or a lack there of. Has nothing to do with the software. But give them some time, I'm sure they will come out with a better business model with WebOS

I used to work on that software that was used to open real estate lockboxes for the WM and PalmOS phones! I'd love to do a version for the Pre, I'm available, but no one calls. :(

Hey Palm, I have an idea. Instead of spending so much time getting your phones on stupid tv shows how about producing/approving more useful apps. I'm so frustrated with the lack of good apps I'm seriously thinking about dropping the $ for the Google phone. Get on the ball already. Sure placing it on the tele might bring in some new customers but the lack of apps will drive them away.
