It's sad any of those species, or any species, for that matter, would make that list. Think of the rest of the animals that are endangered and aren't even on it, like the top 100 or 1000. Not a good list to be on, any way you look at it. It's a shame what humans are doing to other species and their habitats.

Lotte, I doubt it for 2011, but after 2011 I am sure I will lead another trip there again. It is such a beautiful place with distinct wildlife, and it keeps drawing me back.

David, where in Oz are you going? Ive been there 3 times and hoping to get back end next year. I have many fond memories and photos of my time there.

Back home to Sydney for 11 days and then to Melbourne for 3. It's the first long trip with the 3 year old and 1 year old. The 15 hours San Francisco to Sydney leg should be real fun - hence the reason for bringing Grandma with us on the flight!
