The problem is that middle class is the easiest target. The middle class is busy with work, family and predators find a way to slip through the cracks. Look at where we are now with forclosure rates, unemployment, and the cascading economic decline. When the greed and lack of enforcement take over, it not only affects Americans but the GLOBAL economy.

At the same time, I just got a letter from my credit card company informing me about the upcoming increasing interest rate. There's just no way to stop these financial institutions from being greedy is it?

At the risk of sounding like a tinfoil wearing paranoid conspiratorialist, the government is one big mob, all of these guys running the economy are transplants from Goldman Sachs and other such financial institutions, their motto: "Ad Victorem Spolias".

Elizabeth is a true American Hero.

Professor Warren was born and raised in Oklahoma. She still has those values of what is fair. Although she is heading the Congressional Oversight Panel, her true strength is in bankruptcy, how we get there, and how we get out. In personal finance, the book she co-authored with Amelia Warren Tyagi, For All Your Worth, is a good common sense approach for keeping our heads above water and working our way out of personal financial ruin.
