Sorry to be sharing so late, oddly, I only heard of it a few hours before I shared it.

Hi - The deadline was Oct 1st. And digital work not accepted in this competition.

Darn, I missed seeing this or I would have helped to spread the word.

I just got a new SLR camera that can record videos. When I figure out how to use it, I'll make some short tutorials. As an artist I know how much we all like to see pictures ;-)

Jimmy Dyer was a demo artist @ our art guild last night..he has exhibited in the Wildlife Art Mus. in Jackson Hole Wy..among many other prestigious places. He showed us a computer printout & a Plein air 8x10..BIG difference in the shadows. Sigh..guess there's just no shortcut in the process, eh? The human eye cannot be substituted in painting out-of-doors.

Thanks Marg, Barbara and Vonnie for your input and comments. FYI - Even though I sometimes paint larger oil works in my studio, I do all my outdoor studies in watercolor or pencil so toting materials is lightweight and there's no set up or cleanup.
