Yeah, I am for for boobs too. I live in sweden and it is the normal thing to breastfeed. You can sit were ever you want and nurse your baby and no one bats an eye lid. I also spent time in England whilst needing to nurse both my babies. This was not easy. I hat to go into the toilet and nurse (when out in public). What adult would take their food into the toilet and eat there. I think it is awfull.

Breastfeeding What do you think about breastfeeding baby dolls for children?

www.thingamababy.com
Bebé Glotón is a infant doll made by Berjuan, a toy maker in Spain, for the express purpose of promoting breastfeeding. The idea is to impress upon kids that breastfeeding is natural.

I'm not sure how I feel. I mean, baby dolls usually come with a bottle so why not a BF doll? I don't think it will be sucessful on the market though.

It's about time. I wish the U.S did'nt think of breast as just sexual, instead of what God gave them to women for...to nurish His babies!

I think this is ridiculous. I think it is fine if a child wants to imitate nursing with a doll or stuffed animal, but to buy something specifically for that purpose is too much.

Sandra ur son is just developeing STANDARDS for himself. Thats a GOOD thing- not bad. Just because a person d developes standards doesnt mean they are being judgemental. it means they are being true 2themselves & developing this thing we are so obsessed with handing our children on a silver plattercalled SELF ESTEEM. it doesnt mean ur son is going ... See Moreto judge women who cant breastfeed harshly. Just because ur freind has breast cancer and cant breastfeed doesnt mean that people who do are going to judge her. I think thats obvious. Mabey "gluton" has different connotations in spanish?

I know the doll might seem strange to some. It only seems that way, because we are all so used to seeing all dolls with a baby bottle. I would buy this if I had a daughter. It's good just to have the option out there.

Hmmm, not so sure about this. I think it's a little much. Couldn't we just throw out the bottle that comes with a normal baby doll? I think being an example as a mother is way more important than a doll. And, it's really sad that we need to reinforce that breastfeeding is natural...

Good doll!! We've been bombarded by bottle fed dolls for years. Just look at Baby Alive by Hasbro, she has been making noises and sucking on her bottle or chewing her spoon for years and years, at least, 1973. The flowery top is a great novelty, and the children that breastfeed their dolls must do it around prudish adults anyway. ALL children should be exposed to breastfeeding, even if there own mom won't do it (or can't, of course)t, there is nothing wrong or shameful about it.

I really like this. When I saw it for the first time on here I thought it was very different. When I thought about it though I realized that most baby dolls do come with a bottle. This would plant a new idea that breastfeeding is natural and okay.

My daughter started pretend breastfeeding her baby dolls before she even turned one.... I actually thought it was cute... and a little funny. that's the only way she knew how to "feed" them. She didn't use a pretend bra, she just held them up to her shirt.... I think its great and natural. She was nurturing her babies the way she thought mommies were supposed to.

I love this doll; I think that ESPECIALLY since we are society which promotes formula feeding around every turn, this is a refreshing toy I hope will help remove some of the mystery behind breastfeeding for little girls. I want to buy one for my daughter before the formula lobbyists outlaws them for being obscene or something ridiculous like that :)

I am glad that that they have a doll that breastfeed's it's about time I hate seeing bottle feeding I don't understand why people have such a problem with us breastfeeding when it's what we are made to do .
hope that it come's to canada &
that people stop makeing it a bad thing when formula feeding is what is bad for our baby's I really wish more ... See Morepeople could see that & see how much better it is to breastfeed some people are not happy about the doll I seen this on the show the Dr's they were talking about the doll I realy have to say I hate the women Dr on there she dose not belive in breastfeeding for long.
you should see the show to see what she say's about breastfeeding she was telling a women on the show that she was only breastfeeding for her self that there's its no longer healthy for her baby after a year that pissed me off I know it's better the longer you go.

I'm sure the point has been made somewhere in the 250 comments before mine, but I doubt there was any outrage when baby dolls came out accessorized with bottles. How is this any different? I don't know any breastfed kids who don't nurse their stuffed animals or dolls, boys included.

My 3 year old watched me nurse her sister and also watched as she drank a bottle. She sees both as normal and I have seen her give her baby dolls a bottle as well as try to breastfeed them. I don't think you have to buy a specific doll for that though. She even tried to nurse her stuffed animals.

This is great! I had a hard time finding a baby doll for my toddler (aside from her carolle doll) that didn't come with a bottle. /i don't want my girls to think bottle feeding is what they're supposed to do.
