Keyboard Magazine You know that cool, wormy synth sound from Daft Punk's hit "Da Funk"? We duplicated it spot-on using a free soft synth we found online. Click the link to see exactly how we did it.

In 1997, French synth-house duo Daft Punk burst onto the dance scene with the infectiously hooky four-on-the-floor jam “Da Funk.” It’s such a simple tune that it could almost be a nursery rhyme if it weren’t for the radically distorted synth lead drilling its way through the entire track. ...

This is a great article. I've been mastering this technique for most of my life and its exhilerating when you can play this way. It's amazing..and i believe it does take ones total concentration to master (both right and left brains working in tandem).. but, at the same time one can seperate the two so it will sound like two players.

I'd love to know how the SV-1 compares sonically to the PC3X and Nord lines..... especially the organs (and NOT just the B3 emulations, but the Vox & Farfisa as well)..... balls (w/ and w/o the tube)? Keyboard feel? If I had a retro gig and needed the most accurate emulations possible (recreating the original claasic songs), which would be my best option?
