Im looking to put two seventeen year olds in the same car, any problems making two seats for one car?

Not a problem we do it all of the time, just make sure the one who is shorter gets jacked up with some extra foam if needed and or pushed forward this way you can try to keep the side head pads and contols all in the same location.

If done properly you should be able to just swap inserts and go.

Not sure what you are using for a rear head pad but you may want to make it adjustable should you need to move the shorter driver to the front of the car. ... See More

Just keep a close eye on your belts and adjusters to make sure they are not riding to high as you switch drivers.

Take a look at the head and neck devices by Safety Solutions they provide better side to side protection as well as work better in drag cars and tight spaces
