almost time to Retire - Thanks Jim now please stop Dalton from the biggest tax grab in history.
you worked so hard to reduce the GST from 7 to 5 % as promised.
Now Dalton will not only undo all the good things you have done he will simply make it worse.

The choice of Jim Flaherty as Euromoney’s finance minister of the year for 2009 has generated a great deal of publicity in Canada, where it seems many people have taken issue with our decision.

Why isn't this covered by more mainstream press? This is the reason why no one wants an election - they are happy with the guys running the ship! They might as well run as a Majority considering the options.

Rose - most women who are involved in prostitution have mental health issues and/or addictions. It is not so cut and dry. Also, beleive it or not some woman WANT to work in prostitution. Where else can you make $1000-$2000 per day?

maybe if you spend some time in Amsterdam where it is legal and the girls are protected by the police patrolling the area and they have regular medical checkup it does not sound so bad - but then go there again at 4am in the morning and you see a different world that is really not that great.
Prostitution is not a pretty business but it has been ... See Morearound for many many years and despite it being legal or not legal it will be around - maybe we can generate some tax revenue from it just like Gambling - Drinking and Smoking

in the early 60`s they outlawed prostitution in Holland and lol, wound up with an extra 50,000 people on welfare etc. so guess what, they legalized it again, but i suspect it had something to do with the lost tax revenue as well.
