I love the way Eric Cantor said on Hardball that Obama's economy is causing Republicans to win. How stupid - people are to believe that. Have they forgotten that this is The George Bush and Republican economy he inherited. The economy people like Eric Cantor allowed the Bush Administration to run into the DITCH! There may be a bunch of stupid people out there who are blind followers but not me!

I agree with Ary!!! That's how the George Bush and GOP economy screwed the people's lives and the jobs up!!! The people are so stupid to vote for Governor - elected Robert F. McDonnell. They are gulliable to believe what he says. Where is the Smarter GOP Party, not stupid GOP Party??? I am not a big fan of Eric Cantor. He isn't smart like House ... See MoreMinority Leader John B. of Ohio. I am not stupid about GOP Party. In fact I am very anti incumbent. I mean the incumbents in Congress must go. Both parties must go cause they serve in Congress for a very long time. We need a new face and fresh Congressmen and Senators. I am laughing at VA election results. No worries cause I don't live in VA.

Wouldn't it be nice to have elected officials who worry about their constituents/country and not their next election!!!! I live in AR and cannot believe what our Democratic Senators are doing on Health Care. I'm not sure about whether the public option is the answer or not but.... something HAS GOT to be done about the Insurance MONOPOLIES! I don't particularly care for scaring people with "death panels" and just saying "NO" to everything!

Ary and Ryan, ditto! The insurance industry is killing us! How can our so called politicians face us? The system is broken and that is a fact. The richest country in the world whose population is the most dissatisfied with its healthcare and some of the public believes the insurance industry propaganda....... That industry (insurance) is the ... See Moreonly BIG loser with reform. The CEO of United Health Care received more in salary and bonus than the company paid in claims last year. Why doesn't the media discuss this type of issue as part of the healthcare debate? Ask people who have Medicare if they are happy? Bet not one would like something different!!!! Can you believe the polls and/or politicians that indicate they/we are concerned with the cost to protect the health of our citizenry but it is okay to fund war?

Ary at what point does it stop being George Bush's economy? If the economy suddenly gets better will the Democrats not take any credit for it? Of course they will. For better or worse Obama is in control of the economy, and the two wars. Bush is ancient history to the electorate.

I can't help thinking that both parties are just dividing up this ... See Morecountry to their own ends. We pay so much money in taxes and what do we get? Substandard schools, poor health care, and a rotting infrastructure.
And at the core the government is spending money like it is going out of style. I sometimes long for the days when Bush's deficit was big. Now it looks teeny in comparison. And you want to talk about insurance companies how about Drug Companies? The reason we have co-pays is because drug companies come out with a name brand alternative to a generic and charge ridiculous increases in price to the insurance company. Which the patient never sees. Which they pass on to us in premiums! This American Life (NPR) recently did a great little show on this recently.

Hey Ian. Open your eyes... these two wars, one which was TOTALLY unneccesary were started by BUSH!!!!!! This economy is where it is because Bush drove it there and Obama has been trying to stabilize it and bring it back from the brink. The TARP bill Bush wanted really worked huh? I suppose you think less regulations will help some more. I ... See Morepersonally think these big companies need to fail. This healthcare reform is to curb all the bs with the insurance and drug companies. What do the Republicans offer? Oh yeah.... NOT A DAMN THING!!!! Let's just KILL the bill. That works well doesn't it??????? That helps to solve the problem...NOT!! Don't give me this crap about buying insurance across state lines and less regulations nonsence! THEY WILL NOT POLICE THEMSELVES. Government is the only powerful entity to reign them in with legislation. So, either the Republicans put up (with new ideas) or SHUT UP! I think they've chosen SHUT UP!

The GOP is on the wrong side of almost every issue. Gay marriage is being legalized in state after state. Many states have their own laws that mandate health coverage. People are tired of war.People want government accountability and transparency. With the intolerance of the GOP, they are becoming a political party limited to white males in the ol... See More' Dixie south. It is no way to build a political movement. I mean, most of their party does not even believe in climate change and science. They are creationists.
Come on, the year is 2009 in case they have not noticed, not 1899.
