Thank you SO much. I bought my Mountain Horse boots and JPC Equestrian show coat from you four years ago because you were the ONLY company that provided show clothing in sizes to fit a woman that wears a 16-18 in regular dress sizes. You were a life-saver!

I wish those kids' breeches came in ladies sizes! Or that I were shorter ad could wear kids! ;) Those are WAY too cute!!

I hear ya. :) Everyone, no matter size, should be able to purchase trendy, nice looking clothes! I so agree! I don't think these clothes companies should put labels on catalogs and market them to a certain age group. I mean lets face it...there are plus sizes in the 18-30 year olds too. It doesn't matter the persons age. Styles should be created to... See More fit many different sizes.
& I think the companies listing these catalogs could use a little more tact when writing up their sales pitch. (I'm a business owner and try to treat all my clients & potential customers with understanding and not herd them into categories).

When we started 1824 ten years ago, there was ONE breech on the market in a waist size over 34. We went to every major vendor in the industry and asked them to make clothing for our line. Slowly, over the years, we have managed to get most to put them in their own lines so that we did not have to have them all made to order.

Now we are making ... See Morethe rounds talking about the fact that the demographics in our sport has changed and that many riders are now in their 50s and beyond. We are trying to make sure that the manufacturers in our industry know that although many have maintained their figures as they were when they were in their 20s, many of us have changed a bit. So we need up to the minute clothing that really fits. I agree with Debbie, on treating our customers with respect and it is our mission to make sure that whatever shape, size or age you are, that riding apparel appropriate to the kind of riding that you have chosen to do, should be available to you.
