The latest issue of Choices features several articles on the National School Lunch Program. The program, which severs over 30 million sutdents a day, is evaluated by the authors in it's current form, and the authors consider new solutions to improve it in the future.
This issue also includes two submitted articles. One... is an article about farm animal welfare which discusses the clash between the livestock industry and animal rights groups over the treatment of animals on farms. The second is an article about the challenges organic food producers are facing and identifies strategies that will expand the availability of fresh organic produce.
