Not sure who watches The Big Bang Theory on CBS but oh my this weeks episode was PRICELESS! BF Skinner & Thorndike both were mentioned. The roommate of one guy was using chocolate to "train" using positive reinforcement the other guy's girlfriend. The one guy does not like the girlfriend and thought that smoothing... out her "edges" would make more to everyone's liking! You have to watch. I took so many photos at the Shedd! Here is a link to the photos plus some off of a Shedd employee's camera who was also taking the class. ROOT Dog Training The thought that was driven home by Dunbar today was Training Eliminates the Need to Punish. I love that thought. Say dog is jumping on someone coming in the door, that dog has not been taught how to greet people. Once taught properly to sit at the door, there is no need to punish. ROOT Dog Training Uptown Pup - The Social Puppy is a new class I will be offering starting June 30th. The class is only for puppies and stressing socialization out and about in the real world.
