eh.... 'rolling development' can be a bit tedious for the player who is the proverbial early adopter but... those people are generally cast iron fans, which are hard to lose over the bumps... and they supply some much needed pressure relief by dropping coin on sub fees, as the rest of the game bugs are ironed out and the game is fully buffed up to standard

it works for WoW and that is one game that has come along in leaps and bounds post release. I had the fairly unique experience playing it a few weeks after release and then returning to it less than a month ago and its basically a different game... with years of sub fees paid from five million people over how many years ??

in short, there's naught wrong with gamma testing...... See More

so hurry up and release guys

I haven't given up on this game but I definitely pushed it to the back of mind to keep me from kicking babies to get it. I rather Net Devil work everything out than releasing another Age of Conan, yeah I went there.

Agreed, better to take their time and have a great game rather than rush it and have at best a mediocre game.

Playing the control scheme was very polished, I walked up, and with in just a few seconds was able to fly without a problem. The graphics looked great. I was playing on a laptop, and it ran perfect.

It was awesome to meet you guys at PAX this last weekend, and even MORE awesome to get my hands on the game for the first time. It was the very first booth I approached after the floodgates opened, and it was the booth that I spent the most time at. I would do ANYTHING to get into the "friends and family" beta. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me play this... See More game :P

In all seriousness, the game looked very polished. The graphics were fantastic (almost too fantastic! They've got me questioning the power of my PC), and controls were slick and very "easy to learn, challenging to master", and the combat was solid. Even though there was only a small amount of game that was playable, it was thoroughly addicting. I am aching to play it again.

Most MMOs have some kind of combat system as a major basis for character advancement and progression. Jumpgate is similar in some ways, however as an action MMO, combat tactics are quite different than in other familiar and more RPG like MMOs.
