Gregg Johnson Reform Pittsburgh Now: Bill, This is worth persuing! This would link the residents with the major medical facilities. This would also boost tourism opportunities seeing that so much of Pittsburgh Arts culture is located in Oakland. Also, this would make the commute for the Univerity students much easier. Most importantly, it would reduce traffic, cut emissions, and save fuel.

It usually takes 20 to 30 minutes to drive to Carnegie Mellon University from the former LTV site in Hazelwood. That commute could take six minutes by train.
