My computer blocked the site yesterday.

Ok cool - that was before the final fix went in :) *phew*

I had a virus pop up at about 9pm EST last night. I already deleted my pet as a precaution.

Yesterday I was getting a pop up every 20 seconds or so.

We know you would have been having issues yesterday. The final fix went in at approx 8.30am GMT today so if you could please only report issues if you experienced them after this time that would really help us determine whether your comments are new issues or not. Cheers :)

too bad for me that u didn't fix this alot sooner...it cost me $100 for someone to get out the virus that I received doing pet pupz...Now I am very leary of getting another one because of pet pupz. farm town and other apps that I trusted when I started playing these games...Thanks alot guys for costing me money for playing UR games...

Yes Sharon, I can understand.. I ALMOST got a virus.. But found it quickly as it happened to my husband about a year ago...it pretty much ruined his computer and hasn't been working the same since..

it almost got me too last week - but I sussed it and let my own antivirus software zap it. just a comment.

That application has a nasty virus... please fix.

I do have an anti virus too Georgette, but when I asked them about it they told me that since I allowed myself to play pet pupz, they consider it a legal move so they couldn't block it...that sucks since we pay for that to do it's job...

Just one thing to note - this was an issue across Facebook from one very large advertiser, so it affected a number of apps... there've been a lot of posts on both the Facebook Developer forums and other games today relating to this... we sorted it as quickly as we could though (by getting rid of the offending advertiser) -Matt

I sure hope so because last night it was still around and it bumped me off of farmtown so it could show up...If anyone still encounters a virus called... Personal Anti-virus which is what I had and so did my husband do not click it off...Hit alt F4 until all of the screens are gone...

I did not think I would ever get my computer up and running again. Took two days to get rid of some of this stuff.

Boy, wasn't that a mess? I was prepared to swear off, even tho I like it.

Love Pet Pupz but got too many viruses. Thanks for addressing this problem. Hopefully they are fixed.
