BeansThings....for many many years, my mother-in-law has called me Jeanna (pronounced "Gina") Beanna...and then it got shortened to Bean Bean or just Bean....my nieces and nephews know me by Bean....so it was only fitting that my shop be called BeansThings! The "thing...s" that I create are always nature inspired and I try my hardest to up-cycle many components of my items as well as re-use all my shipping materials....hopefully lessening the burden our environment carries a tad.

I have travelled in Asia extensively, studying Batik in Indonesia and Chinese painting in Beijing. My art is a mixture of all these influen...ces and over the years has developed into a unique recognisable style. Mainly abstract, surreal and always colourful.
