Beautiful. The interior is similar to Starwood's great Luxary Hotel in Portland, Oregon: the Nines. Loved the Nines. Loved Portland.

Stayed in The Palace Madrid last month and and love every minute of our time there!!! World-class hotel!!

Hopefully this is a real luxury option in BCN and not a poor excuse for a hotel with arrogant staff and substandard service like the Le Meridien Barcelona.

wow the room config looks great. as for the public areas, just another airport waiting lounge. i was in barcelona in june and saw this hotel being built, cant wait to try it when i am back there in august 2010

W Hong Kong was really the state-of-the-art hotel. It is adjacent to Elements mall , and the trains to and fro the airport as well as into other parts of the city. I am sure the W Barcelona one will take my breath away!!!!

I just stayed at the Le Royal Meridien in Bangkok, it was awesome! The deluxe room was great, loved it! It's in a good spot close to everything and right up the street from the Embassy. I'm sure the one in Barcelona will be just as great if not better.

Just stayed last weekend at the W Barcelona. First know the locals call it the Bella, otherwise your driver won't seem to know what hotel your talking about. The W was our favorite part of our visit to the city... sits on the Med with a view of the port and city. Currently there is not much around the hotel as far as resturants or shops, but nothing 8 euros can't fix. Staff was very friendly and professional.
