Why wont' they bring them back where they belong...because it's called cheap labor...India, China to name a few will work for $2.00 an hr instead of paying U.S. citzens minimum wage over here.

It is irresponsible to blame any one person for this mess, but I always love how the same argument that is used to defend Obama is used to blame Bush. I don't defend either of them because the problem is much larger. Can we please check our facts and realize that the banks gave loans to people who could NOT afford to be homeowners because Congress ... See Moreand the Senate created "programs" for them? At any rate, there are a lot of reasons why we are in this mess. Does it matter? I want to know how we are going to get OUT of it, and as far as I can tell, there are no solid plans in place as of right now. The passage of the health care bill is only going to make it worse.

im sick of people saying it was all bush, and that obama has to deal with his mess... maybe you should look past the cover page of the news and learn sum facts, the reason the housing market went tits up is greedy mortgage companies were giving loans to everyone and their dog no matter how much damn money they made therefore they couldnt pay it. ... See Morenot bush's doing. then this glorious self richeous obama started to promise everyone things he couldnt fulfill and everyone got on the bandwagon of his high trail and look what that has done for us. his approval rating has gone down faster than any president before. for all you out there supporting the SOCIALISTIC health care program get a clue, if you want your grandparents to b givin a pill and die rather than recieving healthcare, keep voting because this healthcareplan has wayy to much fine print that none of you people are aware of. this country is becoming socialistc and the obama is trying to control wayyy!!! too much, we already have GM (Government Motors) and now the obama admn is trying to attack fox news for informing the people the truth about his little plans, we need to get away from gov control and go to private enterprise and if you dont think it works then google ronald reagan and look at what he did for the country and compare that to the worthless jimmy carter thats gov control for ya!

do you want to know who to blame for these job loses??? the answer, us the american comsumer. Why? when was the last time you looked or cared about where something was made, and before you take the easy route and blame President Obama, this has been going on since 2000. 4.7 Million American Tech jobs lost to India since 2000. 98% of the products ... See Moresold at Wal-mart are made in China, and have you checked the country of origin labels on food recently? at my local Vons store all the fish is farm raised in China. Folks, there is no such thing as a "free market". Everything has a cost - whether it be money, time, effort, etc. A "free market" assumes that you are going to get out at least what you put in, and that does not happen. We have lost more jobs than we have created, we consume more than we produce, and we spend more than we earn. What is the cost of ... See Morethe "free market"? Our economy. The "free market" hasn't worked, and it never will. It's time to go back to regulated markets (tariffs, import restrictions, etc) so we can bolster the economy.

Bush's big spending contributed to the problem, but the main cause of the crash was gov't involvement in housing, artificially propping up house prices. And Bush tried to get Congress to do something about that, but the Dems stopped it.

The reason why this has happened was because there was too LITTLE government regulation. I'm sure all of you know the dangers of too much government control but what we are experiencing is the opposite.
Lets take healthcare for one example. A lot of people who still have jobs can only choose one health care plan for where they work. This ... See Moregives that company the power to charge however they want and to reject people on a whim as soon as they get sick without consequence. In other words the health care companies have a large amount of "freedom" to screw you over. A little extra government regulation is needed to check these greedy bastards.

I have only a bachelors degree in computer science, however even my one economics class taught me that printing money to pay debt is the dumbest thing we can do! and thats what Obama did. And giving money to a company like GM that is failing is even dumber !! A better stimulus plan would have been to give each LEGAL citizen of the US $1 million; ... See Morewith the rule that they had to either pay off thier mortgage or buy a new home & buy a new AMERICAN made car!! This would have actually increased consumer spending on goods made in the USA ! Therefore creating jobs! Cash for clunkers did nothing but stimulate the economy for the builders of TOYOTA's !!
