Good article. Yeah, "we" have collectively lost our innocence, so a lot of those programs would not have the same impact they had back then. It's really a shame.

That's a pretty banal article. It's like they read a bunch of other OTR articles and just regurgitated. For instance, a better case can be made for "Fibber" failing on television because the Jordan's didn't want to make the move, the writing was subpar and the staging was wooden. I know that's how I really discovered OTR in the late 1970s.
