I suspect the overwhelming majority of the people who know the facts/history of the situation support the dramatically increased public access, jobs, civic esteem, and economic development benefits which will come from the move.

See Moreequal time to both "sides" even where the ratio is 100 to 1 (e.g. global warming) and a legal system which is too slow, too complicated, and too indulgent of people who really don't have a enough of a direct interest to be involved in a case (most lawyers would say yes on standing, regular people would say no). p.s. in a region of 4 million people, 20 people really doesn't rise to the level of a "protest" - it's barely a baseball team - Ghandi and Dr. King lead protests against real injustices which is why they had hundreds of thousands of followers in the streets and many millions at home - every time 2 or more people make noise and the media term it a protest/movement they're doing a bit of a disservice to real leaders, who faced real dangers, to solve real problems...
