Natalie, Guy, and Josh finished their turkeys with amazing results. The entire office became the judging panel to decide which turkey cooking method actually was the most mouth-watering.

Outdoor Cooking Video #3 from Camp Chef's Turkey Throwdown

Natalie wants to keep things nice and simple and cook an original turkey in the kitchen oven. She makes a nice bacon weave to roast over top of the turkey and add extra flavor. Nice and simple can sometimes take the cake.

Outdoor Cooking Video #2 from Camp Chef's Turkey Throwdown

Guy Perkins gets his Black Pot vein pulsing using his very own brain child. The Turkey Dutch Oven is a great way to hold in moisture and cook a succulent bird very quickly. But is his recipe enough to beat the smoked turkey.

I bought the Turkey Cannon last year. The directions say to cook the turkey with the breast side up. Why is this? Wouldn't it be better if it were down to keep the white meat more moist?

The steam from the holes in the cannon rises and then creates a rolling effect inside the turkey cavity. I have also used the cannon with breast side up and had some very succulent and moist turkey. Try it breast side down and let us know how it turns out. I don't think there would actually be to much difference.

Outdoor Cooking Anyone got any good Halloween cooking traditions? I will be joining a chili cookoff put-on by a local church on Saturday. This will be year three. I will make sure and take some pictures.

If you have any good Fall or Halloween recipes, now is the time to post it on Facebook. We will be giving away an awesome Lumbe...rjack skillet to someone who posts their Fall recipe to Outdoor Cooking's Facebook Page by midnight on Halloween.
