The IAVS believes it is morally wrong to deliberately inflict pain, suffering, emotional harm and death on animals for whatever purpose. Animal experiments, by definition, cannot be separated from some degree of pain and suffering. Using animals as substitutes for human beings in research and testing is scientifically ...questionable and experimental results are unreliable due to the numerous ‘species differences’ between animals and ourselves.

Clare Animal Welfare Poor old Jerry, the 10yr old greyhound in our care, went to the vets this evening as I noticed a growth on the side of his gum, upon examination the vet said he has an epulis and so they have kept him in overnight so they can hopefully remove it in the morning ;o((( Please keep your fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly and successfully.
