Nearly 70 years ago in the Midwest, cornhusking competitions attracted huge crowds and were covered by national radio as sporting events. Quad Cities filmmakers created a documentary about the phenomenon, titled "When Farmers Were Heroes." It premeires... at The Figge Art Museum on September 29th.
