Longtime volunteer Sarah & volunteer-turned-staff Steph took gingerbread cats & peanut butter cookies as a token of appreciation to the 3 firehouses who fought the arson fire around the corner from PAWS Cat City and took care of our kitties until we could evacuate them. Thank you, firemen!

PAWS - Progressive Animal Welfare Society 11 Common Murres who were rescued after nearly freezing and starving to death b/c of an algae bloom, are now healthy and wild again!! A joyous crowd watched as PAWS Wildlife Center volunteers did the honors of setting them free. After two weeks of exhaustive care at PAWS, it was thrilling to see these seabirds return to where they belong.

Your problem, Sheri, is that you drank them rather than proudly display them on your mantle! Ironically, I'm pretty sure that the turkey flavor was vegetarian anyway. That's okay, though, because it's fun to say "Tofurkey soda"!
