I am Lakeshia Watts. My first book, "Rants From A Dysfunctional Family" is now available at the link below. I believe that it is keeping with Simple Truth's purpose. In it, I chronicle my 24 year evolution through a dysfunctional family. My mode of communication is poetry.
I felt compelled to write it because I was ...raised in a devout Christian family that appeared to be perfect. But under the surface, were the shortcomings that all families must confront- Christian or not. I wrote the book as an indictment of Christians who are lying to the world about walking in God's unconditional love and to help those impacted by family dysfunction. I want people to identify, confront, and heal in less than the 24 + years that it's taking me.
