Power League Wrestling Today (12/21) in PLW History: 2003, six years ago. Irwin Quincy defeated Tim Kilgore for the PLW lightweight championship. And "Punisher" Don Vega won the 2003 Power House Brawl.

Power League Wrestling <Forgot to post this on Thursday> Today (12/17) in PLW History: 2006. Chris Blackheart won the 2006 Power House Brawl. And T.J. Richter became PLW New England champion when he defeated Duke Maximum. The victory made him seventh PLW triple crown winner. He also became the only person to hold 5 of the 6 different titles ever sanctioned by PLW.

Power League Wrestling Today (12/16) in PLW History: 1992, seventeen years ago. Scott Z. regained the PLW championship by defeating the Defenesman. The title was vacated by Hurricane Harvey who suffered an injury that would keep him out of action more than 60 days. Being the most recent champion, Scott was granted a spot in the top contender...s match. The Defenseman won a battle royal, giving him the other spot. This was Scott's second of four world title championships. He's the only person to hold the PLW title four times (no one else has won it more than twice).
Power League Wrestling It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mike James. He was known on the indy circuit as Mr. Biggs. He competed in PLW in 1999 & 2000. Mike passed away last night after a long battle with MS.
Power League Wrestling Today (12/13) in PLW History: 1998, eleven years ago. Derik Destiny won the 1998 Power House Brawl. And Troy Young became New England champion by defeating Amazin' Jay. Young had "help" from Gino Martino. So much help that Jay was taken away from the venue in an ambulance (shown at the end of the video).

Power League Wrestling Today (12/12) in PLW History: 1993, sixteen years ago. Amazin' Jay became PLW champion when he defeated Maniacal Mark in the last match of the Best of Seven Series. Jay won the first match, lost the second, and won the third. Then Mark won the next two to take a 3-2 lead after the fifth match. Jay won the last two matches to win the series and the title.

Power League Wrestling Today (12/10) in PLW History - part 1: 1995, fourteen years ago. A night of new champions at the 1995 Power House Brawl event. The Exterminator, with assistance from the Defenseman, defeated the Flawless Foundation for the PLW tag team championship. Max Knight won the 1995 Power House Brawl and received the vacant PL...W New England championship. Amazin' Jay defeated Sub-Zero and regained the PLW world championship.

Power League Wrestling Today (12/8) in PLW History: 1996, thirteen years ago. Shane Simons won the 1996 Power House Brawl, setting up Simons/Richter III. And the Mighty Bosch (pictured here) defeated Scott Thomas to become PLW New England champion.
Power League Wrestling Today (12/6) in PLW History: 1992, seventeen years ago. Hurricane Harvey became PLW champion when he defeated Scott Z. Always known for questionable tactics, Scott attempted to use the briefcase of his manager, Tracy Michaels, as a weapon in the ring. But Harvey, aware of Scott's intention, ducked out of the way an...d "played possum" by pretending to be hit and knocked out. While Scott argued with the referee about the briefcase Harvey sprang up and delivered a big right hand knocking out Scott for the pinfall.
Power League Wrestling Today in PLW history: 1994, fifteen years ago. The Exterminator & Amazin' Jay defeated the Destruction Crew and became PLW tag team champions.
Power League Wrestling Today in PLW history: 1996, thirteen years ago. T.J. Richter and Shane Simons battled in match #2 of their heated feud over the PLW championship. Simons won the first match in September of that year, but it was a win by disqualification the belt didn't change hands. Because of that he was granted another title shot.

Power League Wrestling Today in PLW history: 1997, twelve years ago. "Lethal" Paul Lauzon wins the 1997 Power House Brawl. This would be the first of two PHB wins for him. He won the 2001 edition making him the only person to win two Brawls. Also at the same event, the Pillars of Power won the PLW tag team championship for the third time... by defeating the Knights of the Realm and Fryght.
Power League Wrestling Today in PLW history:1994, fifteen years ago. "Punisher" Brad Dantino defeated Sub-Zero and became PLW champion. Dantino was scheduled to challenge then-champion Scott Z. But Scott suffered a knee injury and was unable to wrestle. PLW officials gave Scott the choice to either find a replacement to defend his title f...or him or forfeit the title to Dantino. He chose Sub-Zero to wrestle in his place.
