Donna, I am going to be snow shoeing this year too! I got snow shoes last year, never got to use them, but, there is a snowshoeing class that I intend to take this winter. I'm really excited about having an awesome excuse to get outside. Stretching now is also the perfect reason to get prepared to use all those muscles that you haven't used in a while. Have fun!!

I agree Deborah! I wear a pedometer just to see how many steps I take and how many miles I walk.
I have always heard that if you are dieting and exercising you should not exercise on the day you are to weigh in. I wonder how true this is?
I don't have 3 children but running around after them must be really a lot of exercise.

For me, it just isn't Thanksgiving without my Mom's sweet potato casserole. It's a whip of baked garnet yams, butter, brown sugar, juice and rind of 1 lemon and 1 orange, pinch salt. Compared to Mom's original recipe, I use about 1/4 the fat and very little sugar. I like to top it with pineapple rings and pecan or walnut halves.
