In September, teenage honor student Derrion Albert was beaten to death on his way home from school. In the Generation Y GED class, students watched the explicit video of the fight/death that was filmed on a cell phone.

Project Learn of Summit County On June 20, Eliokem employees volunteered through United Way's 14th Annual Day of Action. Six employees volunteered at Project Learn to help paint the agency's offices. The agency went from having stark white walls to vibrant walls of gold, maple and a relaxing green.
