Kai

Kai I believe in the use of technology as a key component of the learning process HOWEVER I am wondering if anyone has looked at the health impacts of using wireless technology in the classroom? I am concerned about the cumulative effect of my children being exposed to yet more radiation. I think it's critical that this an...alysis is included as part of asessing the benefit of certain technologies in the school.

Todd Sherman

Todd Sherman In the national findings for 2007's Speak Up survey, you reported "11% (of teachers) said that they are currently incorporating some gaming into their instruction." Did you ask that question again in more recent years? What were the results? thx!

Hi Todd,

In 2008, SpeakUp showed that 26% of teachers in our survey used games in the classroom. Additionally, 11% used simulations in the classroom. We'll be sure to ask that question next year as well.

Thanks for following Speak Up! Let us know if you have other questions!
