Check out this short music video produced at a concert for an up and coming
singer/songwriter, Holly Brook (www.hollybrookmusic.com) on December 4th. Filmed by John Waller with Uncage the Soul Productions (www.uncagethesoul.com) using Canon 5D MarkII and the Canon 7D.
He recorded the audio as a direct XLR line into the... Canon XH-A1, shot the wide angle with the 5D MarkII and the close up with the 7D. In post he layered the audio track with the two video tracks and synced them up.
Both cameras were set to 1600 ISO and it turned out pretty well considering the only light available were some christmas lights and a 25 watt Litepanel that was tuck into a Christmas tree to keep it out of people's way.

After many years of dedicated service to Pro Photo Supply, Doug Potts has decided to resign and begin his retirement.
There may be no one in the Portland photographic community as widely known as Doug Potts. Doug’s photographic career has been long and fruitful. Having worked for a number of years as a commercial photo...grapher, then on the supply side of the industry, Doug has acquired an encyclopedic knowledge of photographic processes and equipment. He has always enjoyed sharing his knowledge, whether that be as a teacher or as a resident expert at one of the several Portland photo stores where he has worked over the years where people have sought him out and come to rely on his expertise.
Doug has been committed to giving back to the photography world that he loves so much through his involvement with the PP of O and PMPA. With these organizations Doug has devoted many, many hours over the years to learning, sharing information and promoting photography.
Any person that has a sincere interest in photography Doug considers a friend. He has become known as much for his big-heartedness and generosity as much as his photographic knowledge. Pro Photo Supply has never had a more loyal and dedicated employee than Doug. His work on behalf of our company is greatly valued and appreciated.
We are sad to see you leave and will miss you and your happy hello's!
