It is absolutely amazing - the Light, Love, Power and Grace of God. Consider the potential dear hearts, for your oh so very Divine Blessed Life Stream. Consider the greatness and Glory of Holy Spirit acting in, as, for and through you. In this moment with my eyes closed ever so gently, I see Light - Pure, Divine Holy Christ Light - the Light of My Life. I AM in tune with The Infinite, just as is every soul who reads these words and consciously chooses to rest assured in the Light of Life.
May these words traverse the Universe and uplift each and everyone who reads them. You are loved, lovable and loving. You are blessed and prospered beyond measure. Each and every aspect of your life is in Divine Order and unfolding in a wonderful way. You are always guided to Right Action in word and in deed. During the start of my senior year in college a man asked me a VERY personal question. When I hesitated to respond he quickly asked, "What's the problem? Are you ashamed?" Provoked by his subsequent questions, I went ahead and answered his original question despite how EXTREMELY personal it was. Here was a turning point for me in my early adulthood. Shame was now a concept for me to consider as to the role it plays in how I express myself to others. Now after several years engaging in spiritual counseling and psychotherapy sessions for myself and also with others, my understanding of the freedom and healing that comes from lifting the veil of shame is tremendous. Yet, here I am checking myself while I consider whether to fully share of myself this morning. What's the problem? Am I ashamed?
Shame seems to go hand in hand with guilt and fear. For it is often a fear of other's judgement that fuels shame. Then you add a good dose of guilt thoughts like: it's my fault, I did something wrong, I deserved it, I should or should not have.... The combination of fear, shame and guilt is a recipe for low self-esteem, self-loathing, heartache, and living with secret beliefs which perpetuate a cycle of unfullfilling relationships. At the very least shame will certainly encourage silence and secrecy such that a soul simply is not fully loving and expressing all of themself. It is this understanding that inspires me to continually find ways to love and honor myself. So this morning I freely share with you as I love and honor some more of me today. Faith without works does not exist. Faith ALWAYS works!

One of the most influential teachers on my journey of faith, spiritual healing and understanding (life understanding) is Emma Curtis Hopkins. Her words strike a chord within me that sparks understanding like none other. She calls this activity the "keynote." It is a healing word of Truth (spoken silently or out loud) that brings immediate recognition of its import. In the presence of a healing word of Truth, a peace comes over you. All of you (mind, body and soul) rises to agreement.
The realization that comes from a healing word, is the inner healing that visibly out-pictures in tangible ways (e.g. physical health, relationship harmony, financial well-being, career success, the manifestation of unexpected good, etc.) She brings the life and words of Jesus into a practical use. She brings the life and works of Jesus into our everyday experience. Let us not forget that Jesus' ministry was a healing ministry. His disciples healed, with and without him present. He encouraged his disciples to know that "these and even greater works shall ye do."
I am inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus. I am encouraged by the scientific way that Emma Curtis Hopkins and others outlined, as well as demonstrated his method of healing. I do believe that we are all vibrating at a certain note, some high, some low. The potential for healing - mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, financial and relationally is without bounds. Perhaps we can all strive for our individual best life, knowing that we are doing our part for the universal best of all. Perhaps we can open up to healing all of the nooks and crannies of our lives with joy and ease. You can rest assured that whatever you believe will manifest in your life. Why not believe in miracles? Why not believe in health, happiness, success, loving relationships and satisfaction in all aspects of life?
It has been said the Emma Curtis Hopkins is the "teacher of teachers," a "mystic" and a healer. As a student of her works for several years, I certainly concur with this description of her. Her teachings have inspired worldwide ministries, healing practitioners nationwide and a multitude of metaphysical writings. Founders of the very popular Unity Church (Charles and Myrtle Fillmore) and Religious Science/Science of Mind (Ernest Holmes) were her students, as well as other metaphysical schools. Many of Emma's ideas are interwoven into the fabric of their teachings, and what is commonly called "New Thought" today. Emma taught about Jesus as a "master teacher" who served as a way-shower to humanity to experience unity with the Divine "Father" as well as to accomplish healing for self and others.
