Wet Mango: Wet Mango is Cristina Fuentes's solo gameboy project started in 2008. She also has a project with Baseck called Sonic Death Rabbit which is chiptune based. Currently Wet Mango is using two GameBoy Color's with LSDJ, The Korg DS-10, and a small synthesizer. She's a sucker for the four to the floor and really wanted to have a project less about performance, more focused on programming, but still containing a wide range of vocals. Freestyle, Hip Hop, Acid, Industrial, Gabber and all other kinds of electronic based music combine unconsciously in her beats. She loves simplicity and the thick yet separated layers of pop music, which explains the more dance feel to this project. But because of her love for experimental electronics it's still on the dirty, glitchy, broken up, and heavy side. Why the name Wet Mango? You betta ask somebodies.

Gideon: Gideon is an old lady, she goes to bed at nine o'clock in her nighty with her night cap and her cup of tea. she is an old ukrainian lady who smells of borscht, and eats pirogi’s on a daily basis and likes to go to socials and likes to spend a lot of money on things, and that’s what downtown Gideon is. Its just this gaping hole that goes to bed at nine o’clock. the town hall leads rolling through the city. the vacant store fronts that used to be just so many.. interesting and cool places to go are just ghetto cash checking shops. bargain bin garbage places. that’s what Gideon is, an old lady in her nighty who goes to bed at nine o’clock and doesn’t like the music too loud. kids start having fun she has to rap on the window and tell them to stop and keep it down because she has to get up early. she’s got to get to her job. kids start having fun she comes around with her little house coat on, tapping on the door telling the kids to keep it down. thats what Gideon is…

What do you mean you just want to spend a nice quiet night at home with your friends? Pulsewave is throwing a party just for you and your hundred closest friends. Without you, the last triple dozen or so Pulsewave events would have been total duds, and to celebrate that they have put together a line-up that is of the utmost sickness!
Headlining is your big brother, the NES, and his friend SADNES. Sadnes enjoys the electric guitar, but he does not have a band. Sadnes enjoys the Nintendo Entertainment System, but isn't that good at video games. However, It made perfect sense for them to join forces, in a musical
sense.
NONFINITE has played his chiptune music at shows in places like San Francisco, Minneapolis, St. Louis and Philadelphia. His two albums, Northbridge and Southbridge, have influences of classical composition, while also infusing hard beats with gritty sounds. You may also know him as the proprietor of NONFINITE ELECTRONICS, a fine purveyor of only the freshest Game Boy modifications for the discerning chipstar.
BATTLE LAVA (Alexander Westcott) is a solo chip music project using the Nintendo Game Boy as a source of sound and inspiration. Hailing from Montreal Canada, he is making his triumphant return to NYC and his Pulsewave debut.
Visuals provided by NO CARRIER. Don Miller performs live visuals in real time under the alias NO CARRIER. He works with nearly obsolete repurposed electronics to create high energy low resolution abstract video. Part of the 8bitpeoples artist collective, he performs, exhibits, and lectures worldwide. Miller is based in Philadelphia, where he organizes and curates 8static, a monthly showcase of low-bit music and visuals.

ComputeHer: Michelle grew up during the golden-age of computers and video games. The countless hours playing video games helped shape her appreciation for chip music and music in general. She began making her own music in the 8th grade when she learned to play the drums. Later, she picked up the guitar, harmonica and eventually found her sound on a Game Boy. They've been almost inseparable ever since. Her debut album Data Bass was released in the spring of 2007 and her first tour followed shortly thereafter.
