Seriously guys, thanks for going the next mile and trying to be totally above board with working with these guys! I'm sure it's not coming from our worship leaders, but just an office guy who feels like he has to protect the money the music label is making! Thanks for being Jesus and doing it legally, as much as it is up to you!

As a [budding] songwriter, I would be grateful to both God and anyone who used a song the Lord inspired me to write in glorifying Him or being drawn closer to Him regardless of if they paid to use it or not! Yes, of course, we all have to have $$ to live in this world, but God provides for His children as we seek Him, His Kingdom and righteousness first.

Hello everyone, There is a petition currently available. Please consider signing the petition and ask friends to do the same. We'd like to send a message to the CMPA to ask for licenses to be granted so that Pwarchive can continue to be the great service it has been over the years...

Pwarchive has been contacted by the Church Music Publishers Association and have been asked to remove all lyrics from the site due to copyrights. Over the next few days, work is going to be done to comply with this. Please join the mailing list for all future updates...

HELLO ISRAEL:

AS FOR ME, THIS IS LIKE HAVING A GUY SAT DOWN ON A CHURCH PEW WAITING FOR YOU TO EVEN MENTION SOMEONE'S SONG AND MAKING YOU PAY FOR IT..BUDDY, THIS IS GETTING REALLY WILD AND FLESHLY. BUT AGAIN, WE ALL WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD FOR OUR WORDS AND DEEDS!!!OR IS MARKET OR IS GOD'S GLORY..A LINE IN BETWEEN DOES MEAN THE WRONG SIDE. AND WE ALL KNOW WE CAN NOT SERVE TWO LORDS.

I came across this thread and I would like to make a point.
The bible says; "every worker is worth his wages". It would be an injustice for someone to do work of any kind and not receive payment so that they can afford to live and buy things they need.
As far as musicians go. It cost alot of money to buy equipment, maintain it, fix it, not to ... Read Moremention travel expenses, and even recording...you have to pay the producer, engineer, studio, other musicians. everyone is getting a JUST wage....not a wage beyond measure.
Yes people will donate and offer there time and talent free off charge - but in the end, if your living is made by making music then everyone who benefits from your work should be aware that you will get paid just any other person who provides a survive gets paid.
Musicians that do God's work and make christian music give God the Glory - their earnings go back into making new music and contributing to other causes. Do some research before you talk about issues. and be fair.
