- Pyone Cho is currently serving a sentence of 65 years for campaigning against the Burmese Junta. He has spent 14 of the last 19 years in jail and has been tortured by the Burmese regime.

- Pyone Cho has been sentenced to 65 years inprisonment and sent to Kawthaung Prison in Tenasserim Division, far from his hometown, Rangoon. He has been imprisoned for 14 years of the last 19 years. His is not allowed any visits, not even from family members.
