Darlene Webster

Darlene Webster Randy, I just got through reading "Deception" and thoroughly enjoyed it. I praise the Lord for you because you write such interesting books, but also give us the light of Christ. Keep up the great writing!

Jacqueline A Cosgrove

Jacqueline A Cosgrove Hello Randy, I was reading Dominion this morning, and as Dani was being carried into heaven, being embraced by Jesus, being talked to by Him, looking into His eyes, and receiving her new name for one glorious moment I was Dani. I felt closer to my real home than I have for a long time. Thank you so much!

Tina Hawley-Grimes

Tina Hawley-Grimes I just finished reading Deadline...LOVED IT! I am a 'turn to the last few chapters and find out 'who did it' and then relax and go back to read the story' person. With this book, I did not do that. It was tempting...but I held back. It made me crazy not to know!! You have a great gift!! I really enjoyed the biblical baseline truths that were interweaved into the book...

Hi Randy, I wanted to write and say how much your article on Spurgeon's Theology: A Biblical Paradox meant to me. I've struggled with a few issues for some time - one - Limited Atonement - and your article was very freeing in realizing that the five points (or four) represent God's principles, but man came up with th...is cute little acronym of TULIP. I've felt like I've been missing something if I couldn't see how to force Limited Atonement into the Scriptures somehow. It was also very applicable for me regarding some issues of dispensationalism, as well. Things aren't always wrapped in nice tidy packages. Kind of reminds me of Aslan, "Course he isn't safe.
but he's good. He's the King, I tell you." He can't be nailed down according to our structured order, Praise God!! Thank you for your ministry. Please keep encouraging believers in issues of theology in preparation for the life to come!

David Norton

David Norton I'm learning a lot with your book on Heaven..It's taking awhile because it's BIG with a lot of references. I threw out a question to some fellow believers the other day asking them what subject Jesus spoke on more than any other. The responders thought possibly money or His Kingdom. I'm of the opinion the subject of Hell could certainly be near the top. Can you provide your thoughts please?

The video in this blog is an incredible look at how far technology has advanced and is changing, even just within the past year. As you watch it, remember that technology is a part of society or culture, which is the creative accomplishment of God’s image-bearers. ...

Exciting to think... I wonder if technology will continue to advance even there...

When pastors talk stewardship, they're talking money. they don't dare ask for everything so they talk tithing. this limits my contribution to the kingdom to money. it limits my money contribution to a max of 10%. Any wonder why christianity is in trouble?

i bet if we focused on serving God the money would take care of i...ts self. we wouldn't need to be so obsessed with it. that'd be the treasure principle - where your heart is there is your treasure. first, get folks to treasure the will of God and the gospel. their money will follow. you'll probably get their time, wisdom, positive attitude... as well.Read More

the Treasure Principle book was interesting. But, I have a question. If it's true you can't serve God AND money, then why are we so obsessed with money? tithe this, no don't tithe! a tithe is a start. spend it this way. don't judge others. money, money, money. a pastor can tell you what last week's donations were but n...ot what everyone is doing for the Lord during the week.

What does money have to do with serving God? Most people think THAT is how you serve God. They think if you have more money you can serve God more. I've been around for a while and don't see any correlation between effective service and quantity of money.

What's the greatest shortage in the kingdom? All the talk would make it seem like money! The bible says the laborers are few. It isn't money that's needed it people. So... we're always talking money?

Randy Alcorn When God provides more money we often think, “This is a blessing.” Yes, but it would be just as scriptural to say, “This is a test.” Abundance isn’t God’s provision for me to live in luxury. God entrusts me with his money not to build my kingdom on earth, but to build his kingdom in heaven. “You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion” (2 Cor 9:11).

Thank you! We needed to be reminded of this again and again. It is so easy to buy into American Materialism and forget to seek ye first the Kingdom of God.

Erik Stanley

Erik Stanley Randy, thanks for all you do to uphold Christ and righteousness in our society. I am a religious liberties attorney and find your analysis of many of the issues we face as Christians in society (e.g. abortion) to be cogent and persuasive. Keep it up!

Susan E. Richardson

Susan E. Richardson Melissa at your publisher is supposed to be sending you a copy of my review of If God is Good. Not sure I did such a great work justice, but I only had 250 words. Hope it piques a lot more people's interest in checking it out for themselves and carefully considering their own beliefs.

Barbara

Barbara loving God is Good, especiallythe section whereyou completely shoot holes in Open Theism...i'd love to sit with coffee and a loooooong chat! Blessings!

Randy Alcorn Martin Luther said, "You can't keep the birds from flying over your head, but you can keep them from making a nest in your hair." We cannot avoid every temptation, but we can avoid many of them, and we can certainly resist their attempts to take hold of us. "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure . . . think about such things" (Philippians 4:8).

I don't have to be a victim to every thought that pops into my head, I must take an active role in resisting the devil and then he will flee from me. Reading Screwtape Letters or Lord Foulgrin's Letters always helps me to remember to see the battle for my mind for what it truly is. I love Philippians 4:8!

Eliah Ravoahangy

Eliah Ravoahangy Thanks so much for your article on "having lifestyle that honoring God". I've been so blessed from this article and mainly in this world of materialism we have to be reminded that the purpose of our life is honouring God. I pray God will use me in everything I have to honour Him and use it to expand his kingdom. May God continue to bless you and your ministry. Lily
