Mary Cheuvront Mullarky I just brought my total cholesterol down from 265 to 196!! It took 2 and a half months of daily exercise, chicken, fish, no white flour or sugar,oatmeal, kale instead of pasta with spaghetti sauce, nonfat yogurt, milk, cottage cheese, feta cheese, olive oil, sugar free coffeemate, walnuts, pears, apples, brussel sprou......ts, and a daily 250 milligram niacin. Also, my weight went from 155 to 140 pounds. My HDL (the good cholesterol) was 96 and is now 93 which is very good since the norm is 60.

It is possible, and not the worst out there. You can get it down quickly by just selecting a few of the "easy" habits from the My Plan page to add to your routine. Get those going and then plan ahead for the new year with a tougher one. Check out our Goals page too! http://tinyurl.com/y8apwp7
