¿Qué es esto de tener un “Despertamiento”?
Un “Despertamiento” se trata de buscar a Dios por medio de la oración y el ayuno. A través del ayuno y la oración, nosotros como iglesia, y en nuestra vida personal hemos experimentado rompimientos en muchas áreas en las que creíamos que no podíamos vencer. También durante ...el tiempo de ayuno y oración, hemos tenido experiencias íntimas y más profundas con el Señor.
Estamos bien entusiasmados en que usted participe con nosotros. No importando si ha ayunado antes, o si ésta es su primera vez, sabemos que Dios va a hacer cosas grandes en su vida.
Hay diferentes tipos de ayuno:
1. Ayuno de líquidos: Aquí usted se abstiene de alimentos y solo toma líquidos.
2. Ayuno parcial: Usted puede abstenerse de una comida (ej. su almuerzo), o puede comer una comida al día, y tomar líquidos. También puede abstenerse de cierto tipo de alimentos o actividades.
Te instamos a que te unas con nosotros del 10 al 30 de enero, para que ayunemos y busquemos el rostro del Señor como nunca antes.
Estaremos ayunando por nuestra iglesia, por nuestras familias, por decisiones que tomaremos durante el año 2010, entre muchas otras cosas.
El domingo 31 de enero culminaremos con una gran celebración.

What is this talk about having an “awakening?”
An “awakening” is seeking God through fasting and prayer. Through fasting and prayer, we as a church and as individuals, have experienced breakthroughs in many areas of our lives that we might have thought impossible to achieve. We have also had intimate and profound experiences with the Lord during these times of prayer and fasting.
We are excited to have you participate in this “awakening” with us. Regardless of whether you’ve fasted before or are fasting for the first time, we know God will do great things in your life.
There are different types of fasting:
1. Fasting of liquids: Here you abstain yourself from eating food and solely drink liquids.
2. Partial Fasting: Here you can skip a meal or have one meal a day, and drink liquids. In this type of fasting, you can also abstain from eating certain kinds of foods or doing certain activities.
We urge you to join us from January 10-30 in seeking God’s face like never before. We’ll be fasting for our church, our families, and the decisions we’ll be making throughout the year 2010, among other things.
On Sunday, January 31st we will end this period of fasting and prayer with a grand celebration.

Nadie planifica ciertas cosas, pero la vida muchas veces puede sorprendernos con situaciones difíciles. Problemas en nuestras relaciones…hábitos dañinos…el sentirnos lejos de Dios…miramos hacia atrás y nos preguntamos, “¿Cómo es que llegue aquí?” El inicio de ir en el camino equivocado es mas fácil de lo quizás piens...as, al menos que reconozcas los avisos.
En la serie “Pasos Efectivos Para Arruinar tu Vida”, hablaremos acerca de aquellas áreas que casi siempre son evitadas como temas, pero son luchas reales de la vida. ¿Cómo las evitamos? ¿Cómo las conquistamos? ¿Cómo es que vivimos la vida de VICTORIA de la cual muchos hablan pero a veces parece tan difícil obtener? ¿Cómo podemos ayudar efectivamente a aquellos quienes están tomando estos pasos y están teniendo éxito en arruinar sus vidas?
Te invitamos a que te unas a la Pastora Lynette Santiago los viernes mientras ella comparte una nueva serie titulada: “Pasos Efectivos Para Arruinar Tu Vida”. Al conocer estos pasos tendrás las llaves efectivas para evitarlos y tener el éxito que Dios desea que obtengas.

No one plans for it to happen; but life can get pretty messy. When we face trouble with our relationships, harmful habits, and feeling far from God, we look back and wonder: “How did I end up here?” Going down that path is easier than you might think unless you know what to look for.
In the series “Effective Steps to Wreck Your Life” we will target the areas that are often not spoken of, yet part of daily struggles. How do we avoid these? How do we conquer them? How do we live the life of VICTORY that so many talk about but sometimes seem so difficult to attain? How do we help those who are effectively taking these steps and succeeding at wrecking their lives?
We invite you to join Pastor Lynette Santiago on Fridays as she shares a new series titled: “Effective Steps to Wrecking Your Life.” By knowing these steps you will have the effective keys to avoid them and attain the success God wants you to have.

With the start of a New Year come new beginnings. As a church, we are declaring the year 2010 as the Year of Divine Order. Join us on New Year's Day, Friday January 1 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for a time of worship and prayer as we dedicate our families and lives to the Lord. There will be a delicious meal after the service for those who attend. Please note that we will not be having an evening service on New Year’s Day.
