Missy Not able to relaunch the Write-N-Cite macro in Word 2007 after closing it once. Tried going through the start menu, clicking the Add-In in Word & the desktop icon.
Is this a known problem? How can I relaunch it?

Yes you can. Select your references, click the Export button. Then select Tab Delimited and download the text file. You can then open/import it into Excel and edit the columns however you like.

Dorie

Dorie How do you add multiple sets of authors? I have a report with editors and authors. In the report is a chapter written by another set of authors. I can't figure out how to add the overall report authors. In the recommended citation for the chapter it shows both sets of authors and the editors.

Hi Dorie, It really depends on your output style and what information it requires. If you want to cite the chapter I would suggest using the Book, Section or for the whole report use Book, Edited. But again, it really is up to the style.

I tried entering it as a Book, section but there is still no place to put a SECOND SET OF AUTHORS. Thanks.

Joel Leonard

Joel Leonard hey i was wondering if there is a way when creating your finished your paper and creating your bibliography if you can create footnotes, with a "1" and "2" and so on as your in text references when using a Chicago or MLA style

RefWorks does not actually create the endnote or footnote in the document, but is used to insert and format the citations. You create an endnote or footnote using your word processor.
For information on how to format your paper with footnotes, go to http://www.refworks.com/Refworks/help/Footnote_Format.htm

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Michelle, RefWorks and WNC 3 are fully compatible with Vista and Office 2007. For information about using Write-N-Cite go to http://www.refworks.com/Refworks/help/Refworks.htm#Using_Write-N-Cite_for_Windows_III.htm
Thanks,

Izwandy Idris Hi,

I'm thinking to transfer all my write up from Office 2007 to LyX (similar like LaTex). Is Refworks compatible with this software and can I use write n cite in this software as well?
