This new release is specifically for the RefWorks User Interface. It will not include a new WNC for Mac. We do have a new version of WNC 2.5 for Mac in development to fix a few technical issues. I do not have a time frame for it's release yet. When it is ready we will be sure to mention it here.

Rwcos Christine Hi Everyone,

There has been some Twitter posts about RefWorks being unavailable this weekend; this is misinformation as we do not have any planned maintenance.

Jezreel Justine Sy

Jezreel Justine Sy Hi. Question about importing: I have a bunch of references from pubmed (saved it as txt file, medline) but when i actually import the file it says "No references imported - Make sure you selected the
correct Import Filter and that the data you are importing is in a
tagged format." thanks

Hello Jezreel,
If you have selected NLM PubMed as the data source and as the database and your records did not import they may not be in the correct Medline format. Feel free to send your text file to me and I will take a look. email support@refworks-cos.com

Connie Question from a user, so I get to try this out! A student is wondering if they should use the ref format personal communication for an interview. I can find a description of it and the sample bib stuff at the bottom of the blank record doesn't help. Here is their exact question:
" was just wondering how to "Add a new... Reference" on Refworks for a face-to-face
interview. Would it be considered "Personal Communication?" If so, where would I
put the business titles of the people I talked to, or would I just put this
information in the Abstract? Also, where do I put the date found and what
organization they are from?"

Missy

Missy Not able to relaunch the Write-N-Cite macro in Word 2007 after closing it once. Tried going through the start menu, clicking the Add-In in Word & the desktop icon.
Is this a known problem? How can I relaunch it?
