Andy Gibbons has stepped down as Knox College's head football coach and the school's athletic director Chad Eisele will take over the Prairie Fire program. Gibbons told the Prairie Fire players of his decision Monday after the team completed a 1-9 season.

I have a confession to make. I got so excited by the Chicago Bears acquisition of quarterback Jay Cutler last offseason, I went out and bought a Bears jersey with his name and number on it. I got one for my wife, too, and to my delight, she wears it with pride.
