On behalf of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs Troops To Teachers Program, I wanted to take the time to thank you for cosponsoring H.R. 3943: Post 9/11 Troops To Teachers Enhancement Act. I, personally can assure you that this measure will afford counseling and assistance to hundreds of yo...unger veterans returning from overseas deployments worldwide (Particularly Iraq and Afghanistan). Our office will be working dilligently to help these young men and women transition from military service into our nations k-12 classrooms by taking advantage of education benefits, counseling and job placement services offered through Troops To Teachers and other sources.
