You know, I have to jump in here and say that for me the title is close enough for me to see this is wildly imaginative stuff; yet! I ran into a neighbor recently who was taking the concept(s) seriously! For example, blowing something up on one side of the planet to off-set global warming!

We cannot solve the climate change because it is a naturally occuring cycle. Nuclear energy is the cleanest and most cost efficient way of producing energy. If Al Gore is so concerned about climate change being caused by humans maybe he should take a look at the amount of energy his house uses before he points the finger at anyone else.

I had additional insulation put in the house, changed all light bulbs to green, new water heaters, collect all the rain water that I can and I am trying to figure out how to fix the plumbing so that the shower water is collected for sprinkling. I am trying to do my part. I have seen a big drop in the electrical bill.

In Boone County, Ky. there is a Gifted and Talented teacher who does not believe in evolution or climate control. It's a county full of fundamentalist Christians who believe in a literal interpretation of the bible. (We wonder why the U.S. is behind the rest of the world in science education!) That explains their evolution issues. The only explanation for their disbelief in climate control is that they are rooting for The Rapture and they secretly want us to destroy the planet.

It is freaking cold. Everyone, please burn more fossil fuels to help re-ignite global warming. Our continent NEEDS it. The caveat, of course, is that there is a happy medium. Let's not burn as much fossil fuels as the wooly mammoths did. We all know what happened to them when the Ice Age in which they thrived came to an end. . .
