Cassie Journey, 20, never really thought about abortion until she became pregnant at seventeen. She came from a Christian family, so she knew that it was her own bad decision that led to her predicament. “I went against the Word and what God said,” she explained.   ...

As personhood advocates, it is critically important that we use the correct terminology to describe preborn babies, their mothers, the very act of abortion and even the facilities in which abortions are committed...

Great post! I don't like how people call an unborn baby an embryo or fetus, but I thought that was the scientific term for it. I'm glad to know that it is a developmental stage and I can call it that. I also like "abortion center" rather than "abortion clinic". I have noticed that many pro-life organizations say "pre-born" rather than "unborn". Is ... Read Morethat also intentional? Unborn makes me think the baby doesn't exist, but pre-born implies that birth is inevitable (which it is. I recently looked up "birth" in the dictionary and it didn't say that the baby has to be alive to be born. If a child is conceived they have to be born at some point whether they are dead or alive, so an abortion is not really as simple and easy as they make it sound. You still have to give birth.) Sorry for the long comment!

yes!!!!!! that is exactly the point ive been trying to make... taking the baby out of a mother whose health is suppositly in danger by being pragnant dosent mean you have to the baby... if the baby dies of complications than the baby dies a natural death and should be morned... but babys can be saved as early as 18 weeks gestation... ive seen this ... Read Morewith my own eyes for ive worked as a NICU corpsman for the navy... one of our babys born at 18 weeks gestation is now going to be three years old this August... i know that catholic hospitals do every thing in their power to save babys born early... and their mothers, too. it seems to me that it is an extra step to purpously kill the baby... in the case of ectopic pragnacys the baby dies as a result of the procedure to in most cases remove the falopian tube but the baby isnt diractly killed by something the dr.s do to kill the baby... i wish there was away to simply flush the baby from the falopian tube and have it attached to the utern wall where it should have been attached so that the baby dosent die... i wish science would put more effort in to saving babys rather than kill them...

you are right, there is NO reason for a baby to be aborted for the "health" of the mother. especially when the baby is close to full term or "late term". this is insane! i had pre- eclampsia during pregnancy w my 16yr. old son. he was born 5+ wks early, i had complications as did he. but we are both alive. my health was affected but only because i ... Read Morehad unknown health issues before conception. of course the abortion "option" will use ANY excuse. the baby was not the problem, my health was and that only due to meds i was prescribed that changed my metabolism like steroids fora severe brain & joint injury accident.

Not surprising in the least! 115 young ladies, out of 800 female students - so much for prevention talks! Blaming the parents? Wait a minute the same parents that PP didn't want to have the ability to teach their own children about sex so took away their ability and started teaching kids at a younger age? Now let's have pregnancy intervention class... Read More for these same kids they're already teaching about "safe sex" to avoid pregnancy that are obviously following what they've been taught ? Circular logic at it's best! Bravo losers at PP what a great success you are! NOT!
