Rick French I hope everyone has the opportunity to catch the HBO broadcast on 11/29 of the 25th Anniversary Concert for the Rock Hall. It may very well be the greatest assembly of talent on one stage over two nights in rock and roll history. That will be up to concert attendees and viewers to decide. As it relates to the reschedul...ed annual benefit concert, information will be coming in early November.

Rick French More details will be forthcoming soon but I wanted to let everyone know the date for the rescheduled show will be Saturday May 1, 2010 at Booth Amphitheatre. As previously mentioned, the concert will be two days, as it was last year, and details on the second show, tentatively planned for April 30, will be announced in the next few weeks.

Rick French We are looking for North Carolina's best cover band to perform at our artist VIP party on Saturday, Sept. 5. Whomever is chosen will receive $500 and a chance to jam with current or former members of Queen, Yes, Journey, The Revolution and other superstar artists. Nominees need to be able to cover everything from Cream... to AC/DC to Queen and John Legend and need to be performing locally in the next couple of weeks so we can go check them out live. Feel free to nominate someone on this site and also please let us know when/where we can see them perform.

Jennifer Hey, I have a question. I just purchased the $100.00 ticket that comes with the meet and greet pass and Ticketmaster knows nothing about the meet and greet. How do I get those passes?

Rick French As we get closer to this year's incredible show I want to thank all of last year's performers --- Jefferson Starship, Dennis DeYoung, Rick Derringer, Dave Mason, Jack Bruce, Mark Farner, Joe Lynn Turner, Buck Dharma, the John Entwistle Foundation Band, Arrogance, The Connells, Grand Society, Supagroup, Pete Hopkins, an...d last year's spectacular version of the White Sox All-Star Band for getting this event kick started. Every one of them was a joy to work with and I hope our fans get out there and keep supporting each and every one of them by seeing them perform live and buying their records. They gave generously of their time in support of the Rock Hall and our various charitable partners and all of them are class acts personally and professionally. Rock starts sometimes get a bad rap but in my experience seldom do you find nicer people to be around and we've seen the same thing in the artists we are working with this year.
