Rock Plaza Central is a band. They don't find the time to tour like they used to, but they're still planning to make more music and get out now and then.
Their last two CDs were on countless Best lists for their respective years and also for the decade. One of them, Are We Not Horses (2006), a concept album about a bunch of robotic horses who think they are real horses, has inspired fan fiction, comics, a play using real horses, has been taught in university courses, and best of all, helped a lot of people through truly difficult times in their lives. We are greatful to have touched people in such ways and hope to continue interacting with people on such a personal level.
Band members perform in several other projects, including Chris Eaton's fiction, Scott Maynard's The Quiet Revolution, Fiona Stewart's Reflectiostack, Blake Howard's GUH, Andrew Innanen's Church and State and Louis Apicello's Sgt Dunbar and the Hobo Banned. Past members have also included Casey McGlynn, John and Doug Tielli and the incomparable Jack Breakfast, to name but a few.
