Andrea Meyer I will be thinking of you all tomorrow and paying tribute to Ron here from Colorado. I wish I could be with you all. Ron was so inspiring. It was an honor to know him and to learn from him. I am very grateful to have met him and to have worked with him. In all my interactions with him, he was always so full of hope for the future. I am glad he lived to see Obama become president.

Jesse RHINES Dr. Takaki was my professor and senior director of my dissertation at UCB. I just learned of this memorial tonight and will try to be there. He was and remains my hero!
