Room In The Inn 2010 will be notable in our history: a new facility will allow us to greatly expand our capacity and programming, including offering permanent housing. Most importantly, people across our city will continue to come together around the idea of creating places of hospitality and unconditional love in their own congregations. Happy new year!

Photos of progress, as our new $11 million structure takes shape. The new facility, adjacent to our current one, will include a new day center, dining room, kitchen, classrooms, and 38 apartments. Our current building will be remodeled to house The Guest House, and our Odyssey and veterans programs.

Room In The Inn "Blue Christmas" at the Campus was an incredible experience today. Even in the midst of hardship and grief -- "O come, let us adore him..." -- the singing nearly lifted the roof.

Room In The Inn Today we are having our annual "Blue Christmas" worship service. Christmas is a very difficult time for those on the streets; we face loss, separation, and fear about the simple necessity of finding a place to stay for the night. Coming together to celebrate Blue Christmas is a way for us to find comfort in the true ...meaning of this time, and the knowledge that we aren't alone in our grief.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - For the eighth straight year, employees of Cricket Communicationshelped the homeless reconnect with loved ones at Christmas by providing free phone calls at Room In the Inn, a homeless outreach organization.

Room In The Inn Cricket is here today helping our guests make free long distance phone calls. We've called places as far as Ethiopia and Honduras as people reconnect with loved ones for Christmas.

Room In The Inn Thanks to everyone who made our concert great last night... Dave Pomeroy and Don Henry for hosting, Christ Church Cathedral, and our performers -- including this year's mystery guests Emmylou Harris and John Prine! There was everything from steel drums to mandolins to baroque ensembles to the Riders in the Sky.
